Masonry Cleaning and maintenance
PMAC breathes new life into building facades and public areas by removing grime, growth, grease, oil and carbon deposits from stone surfaces. Our specialist stone cleaning services cover facade cleaning, walkways, bridges and pavements. We also rejuvenate modern renders such as Monocouche,Techrete and Cladding. These are very thin renders that can’t withstand any pressure cleaning and must be treated with extreme care. If you have grimy and damaged stone or render, we can clean and restore it.
There are a variety of methods used to clean facades depending on the substrate (chemicals, biocides, steam, façade gommage® system – as featured in the video below). Too many buildings are spoiled because the incorrect methods are used.
Stone Repairs and Stone Replacement
Once a building is cleaned we can assess for repairs. Our Masonry craftsmen are on hand to source and replace damaged stones. We also have extensive experience repairing damaged and chipped stones, filling in holes and finishing facades to an extremely high standard.
