PMAC recently completed a commercial floor cleaning project in the atrium of a large corporate office in Dublin. This public area experiences heavy daily footfall, so maintaining a clean, professional appearance was essential to the company’s image.

The Cleaning Process

Our specialist team re-honed, deep-cleaned, and polished the black stone floors using a diamond pad system, enhancing their natural shine and creating a sleek, reflective finish. Rehoning involves using fine diamond abrasives to gently smooth the surface of the stone, removing minor scratches and dullness to restore its original clarity before polishing. The green stone floor areas were also cleaned using the same process, ensuring consistency and an even, high-quality result throughout the space.

To avoid disruption to business operations, all work was completed out of hours, including night and weekend shifts. The result is a beautifully renewed floor surface that highlights the quality of the stone while improving the overall look and feel of the atrium.
