Marble Bathroom Restoration

Because of this experience, clients trust us to restore marble bathrooms in both homes and commercial spaces. Recently, we completed a project involving two marble bathrooms in a home in Dublin. This project clearly shows the care and attention we bring to every job.

Over time, daily use, moisture, and unsuitable cleaning products dulled the marble’s finish. As a result, the stone lost its clarity and depth. However, the quality of the marble beneath the surface remained strong. Therefore, our goal was to restore its natural beauty while also improving durability and ease of maintenance

Stripping the Marble Surfaces

First, we carefully stripped the marble tiles using stone-safe products. This step removed old sealers, residues, and built-up dirt. As a result, we brought the surface back to a clean and even base.

By doing this, we ensured that every following step worked directly on the marble itself. This approach is essential for achieving a high-quality and long-lasting finish. In addition, it prepares the surface to absorb treatments more effectively.

Deep Cleaning with Hot Steam

Next, we carried out a deep clean using hot steam technology. This method lifts dirt, bacteria, and contaminants from deep within the stone. At the same time, it avoids harsh chemicals, which helps protect the marble.

As a result, the surface became clean and hygienic. Moreover, the process preserved the marble’s natural veining and texture. These features are key to the overall look of a marble bathroom.

Powder Polishing the Marble

Once the marble was clean, we moved on to powder polishing. This specialist technique restores the stone’s natural shine. During this stage, we removed dull patches, light scratches, and minor marks.

Gradually, the marble’s colour and clarity returned. As a result, both bathrooms gained a smooth and balanced finish. In turn, the space looked brighter and more refined.

Sealing for Long-Term Protection

To finish the process, we applied a high-quality impregnating sealant. This sealant penetrates the marble and creates an invisible protective layer. Consequently, it guards against moisture, stains, and everyday wear.

Because of this protection, the marble is now easier to maintain. In addition, it will stay in better condition over time.
