PMAC’s Work on Iconic Buildings and Monuments

For over 26 years, PMAC has worked to conserve and restore many of Ireland’s most treasured buildings, monuments, and heritage sites. As registered heritage contractors, we build our reputation on expertise, respect for tradition, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. We are ISO and Safe-T certified, and our team includes highly trained craftspeople who care deeply about Ireland’s history. Moreover, our work continues to grow as we take on new challenges across the country.

Recently, we completed a series of remarkable projects in Dublin and beyond. These projects, in turn, highlighted the importance of protecting Ireland’s cultural heritage for future generations.

The Rotunda Room, City Hall Dublin

The Rotunda Room in Dublin’s City Hall is a place of rare beauty, with detailed mosaic floors and well-known statues. Our team carefully cleaned and restored each statue. We also renewed and sealed the marble and mosaic floors. Throughout the process, we acted with great care to honour the original artistry.

Statues and Monuments on Dame Street

In addition, we worked on monuments near Trinity College on Dame Street, including the statue of Thomas Davis and the three heralds. Because these outdoor sculptures face constant weathering, they need specialist attention. Our conservation cleaning helped reveal the fine detail and skill within each piece.

St. Martin’s Church, Culmullen County Meath

Beyond Dublin, we restored the facade and bell tower of St. Martin’s Church in County Meath. This striking Gothic church remains an important part of the local community. As a result of our work, its stonework and tower will continue to stand strong for many years.

Continuing a Legacy of Care

From major public monuments to local churches, our work goes far beyond repair. Instead, it reflects our ongoing promise to preserve Ireland’s heritage. Each project shows our belief that these architectural treasures deserve to be enjoyed in their full beauty. At PMAC, we take pride in combining traditional craftsmanship with modern knowledge to protect landmarks that cannot be replaced.
